We think and live non-conventionally, which is why we will always choose the less traveled path. Our projects are a continuous dialogue with contemporary artists, craftsmen of excellence, and visionaries, aiming to discover the distinctive note that makes a project truly unique and destined to enter history. This is both our contribution and our legacy.

In response to the commodification of luxury, we are journeying into a niche segment of high-end design, suggesting a deeper exploration, using the power of stories to elevate the field to new heights of refinement and meaning.

We recognize the essential connection to nature, seeing ourselves as part of a larger ecological community, interconnected and interdependent. We pledge to honor the beauty and mystery of the natural world, favoring durable and organic materials like stone and wood, sourcing and working with craftsmanship that respects and perpetuates a fragile legacy. By merging the mystic and animistic power of the old with the purity and elegance of the new, we believe ultimate design is not linear and, more importantly, a discussion with the soul. Every project is both an artwork and an act of care.

Laetitia Murguet, the founder of ŌANI Studio, started her design journey in childhood, marked by an exceptional gift: a heightened sensitivity to her surroundings. This acute perception enabled her to notice hidden elements in her environment: subtle shifts in light, intricate textures, and the nuanced interplay of colors.

Initially viewed as an unusual level of sensitivity, this ability became her most valuable asset, enabling her to play with complex visual compositions and develop a deep understanding and knowledge of materials, texture and light. For the last ten years, she led some of the most daring projects in Portugal, New York, London and Courchevel. Driven by an impeccable sense of achievement, she has ventured into property development, integrating the complete chain of value.

Having developed an extended knowledge of holistic and ancient wisdom, she integrates highly innovative features that reshape our relationship with home living. From the choice of stones to the water treatment system, the impact of materials as well as their energetic significance, she adds a layer of research and attention to the project that goes far beyond the aesthetic level.

Julia Genstaler, collaborator at ŌANI Studio since 2023, has been a major figure in the event industry before joining the studio, crafting bespoke luxury events and fashion shows. Having graduated from Parsons NY, she nurtured and developed a keen eye for art and design. Julia possesses an innate ability to harmonize art and objects, textures and materials to create a distinct and authentically personal touch in every space she designs. Her projects are a testament to her commitment to discovering rare and talented artisans who bring their unique craftsmanship. At ŌANI Studio, Julia is combining her taste with remarkable management and organisation skills to help create iconic spaces.

Théodore Bajard is a designer at ŌANI Studio, where he integrates his background in art curation and experience design into the creation of immersive, emotionally resonant spaces. With over a decade of experience in the art world, including roles at prestigious auction houses in New York and Paris, Théodore brings a unique perspective to architectural and interior design projects.

At ŌANI Studio, he collaborates closely with the team to develop concepts that blend contemporary aesthetics with symbolic narratives, ensuring each project offers a transformative experience. His expertise in curating art collections and designing experiences contributes to the studio’s holistic approach to luxury design.
